Global opportunities. Same vision. More markets.

A wider audience

One site reaches customers in two countries in their own language.

Professional translation

Not machine output — copy written at native and C1 level.

A stronger brand

As trustworthy in each market as a local company.

Two markets, two rulebooks

Germany and Türkiye read the same site differently.

Translation is only the start. Legal requirements, payment habits and trust signals differ, and the site has to meet both.

DE

The German market

  • Impressum and privacy policyCommercial sites are expected to carry an Impressum and a GDPR-compliant privacy policy; without them trust and legal certainty suffer.
  • Cookies only with consentAnalytics and marketing cookies load only after consent; the banner is set up accordingly.
  • Formal, clear languageGerman copy uses the formal „Sie“, stays concrete and avoids hype. Users look for information, not claims.
  • Familiar payment and contactLocal payment methods such as PayPal, Klarna and SEPA; a clear address, phone and opening hours.
  • AccessibilitySince 2025 the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) requires accessibility for many B2C online services.
TR

The Turkish market

  • KVKK privacy noticeA KVKK notice and cookie policy for any form collecting personal data; a distance-sales contract for e-commerce.
  • Mobile firstMost traffic comes from phones; speed and one-handed use come before desktop.
  • Fast contact channelsA WhatsApp button, tappable phone number and short forms shorten the decision.
  • Local payment habitsCredit card instalments and integration with payment providers common in Türkiye.
  • Local visibilityGoogle Business Profile, Turkish search terms and city-level content for local search.

Localisation, not translation

So search engines see every language on its own.

Getting a multilingual site found on Google is technical work. Each language goes live at its own address, with its own keywords.

01

A URL per language

German and Turkish pages live at separate addresses, so search engines index each version on its own.

02

hreflang tags

We tell Google which page is which language's counterpart — users in Germany see German, users in Türkiye see Turkish.

03

Keywords per market

“Webdesign Agentur” and “web tasarım ajansı” are not the same search. We research keywords for each market separately.

04

Local meta and schema

Titles, descriptions, social previews and schema.org data are written for each language.

05

Native review

Copy is written and checked in the team at native Turkish, C1 German and B2 English level.

06

Speed and infrastructure

Fast, mobile-first code; a multilingual sitemap and clean redirects.

How we work

Two markets, one process.

01

Market research

We map target countries, competitors and the terms people search for in each language.

02

Content & localisation

Copy is rewritten for each market rather than translated; required legal pages are planned.

03

Design & development

Language switching, separate URLs and hreflang on a fast, mobile-first site.

04

Launch & monitoring

We track each language in Search Console and adjust content from the results.

Why EEC

A team in two countries, working in two languages.

We work from Dortmund and Istanbul, and have delivered sites for partners in both markets — such as Düsseldorf Consulting in Germany and YEOSB in Türkiye — so we know the users of both countries up close.

FAQ

Questions about multilingual websites.

Isn't an automatic translation plugin enough?

Plugins that translate live in the browser are not indexed as separate language pages, so you won't appear in German search results. Machine-translation errors also cost trust directly.

Which languages do you support?

We write and review Turkish, German and English content in-house. If you need another language, we scope it together.

Can you make my existing site multilingual?

Yes. We review the setup first; if it fits we add the language layer, otherwise we move the site to a multilingual structure.

Does a website in Germany need an Impressum?

For commercially operated sites, generally yes. We prepare the page structure and placement; have the content checked by a legal professional.

How long does a project take?

It depends on page count, number of languages and whether content is ready. After a short discovery call we give you a clear timeline.
